OUR PRACTICE

Overview

Smart Eyes, The Optician practice provides eye tests and related professional eye-care services and dispenses spectacles, sunglasses, contact lenses and eye-care products. Practices are usually run from high-street retail premises by one or more qualified optometrists typically working in partnership, although it is necessary for the proprietor of the business to be professionally qualified.

Opticians’ practices must meet the requirements set out in various rules and regulations. These cover optical and sight testing, health and safety, consumer and business protection, and data protection.
